Swiss Supermarket Chain Spar to Support Bitcoin Payments Across Switzerland

Spar Supermarket, a major Swiss supermarket chain, plans to roll out bitcoin payments across Switzerland after a successful pilot.

Spar's Zug location began accepting bitcoin payments via the Lightning Network in early April, using DFX Swiss' OpenCryptoPay platform, an open peer-to-peer standard designed for face-to-face crypto transactions.
